 1. Make sure your makeup sponge is damp before use. 
 2. Apply your foundation or cream product to the back of your hand and then, using the rounded side of the sponge, dab the product onto the skin.
 3. Bounce the sponge over the skin in a patting motion to blend the product.
 4. Roll the sponge over the skin to blend the product in more thoroughly.
 5. Use the pointed tip of the sponge to get into hard-to-reach areas, such as around the eyes and nose.
 6. Wash your makeup sponge regularly with a gentle cleanser.
